This brand new expansive 3-stall garage, 2-story cabin is situated on just over an acre of lakefront property on Cedar Island Lake in Richmond, MN. With dreams of hosting friends and family, the owners designed their floor plan to make all their guests feel welcome and comfortable. And from the moment you walk in the front door of this spacious 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom oasis, you do feel like you just belong here.
The stunning attention to detail in this home includes an impressive 14-foot, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, a generous 5’x10’ granite island that gives way to breathtaking views from large kitchen windows, and custom hickory cabinetry throughout. There’s also a roomy 28’x14’ screened-in porch for relaxing and enjoying the great outdoors bug-free. Working with this wonderful couple to make their dreams come true – including a walkout basement with space for an art studio! – has been a wonderful experience for Wilson Home Builders to pour our hearts into.
How many people get the opportunity to transform their beloved childhood home into their dream home? This homeowner did just that! Wilson Home Builders loves helping people create strong foundations, so we were thrilled to work with this delightful client (and her talented designer) to make her vision come to life. This project was a front door to back door, top floor to bottom floor remodel. There wasn’t much we didn’t touch: the main level was opened up into a large, airy, and stunning kitchen/dining/living space, ceilings were vaulted throughout the main level to capitalize on light and space, bathrooms were made spa-like-fabulous, and the unfinished basement was beautifully finished with a second kitchen, cozy woodstove, and plenty of beds for extra guests. Outdoors, the home was trimmed out with all new windows to nab the fantastic views and large decks to entertain family and friends all summer long, and then finished in board and batten siding to complete the new modern look. Named “Buckshot Hideaway” in honor of the homeowner’s late father, we know he’d love what she did to the place!
This gorgeous new construction home showcases our custom “INDY’ floor plan designed with functionality and style in mind. The large open layout includes a covered patio facing the golf course complete with an outdoor fan. And any garage lover will appreciate the 34'x25', three-stall garage with in-floor heat. The main bedroom is set back facing the golf course and features a large picture window, 13'x6' walk-in closet, and a private bath with a soaking tub, tiled shower, and double vanities. The home also showcases large, beautiful Anderson windows, a gas fireplace, granite countertops, stamped concrete front patio, and in-floor heating throughout.
